How do you calculate what my macros are?

I look at many things! Your weight, age, height, activity level, stress levels, occupation and many other things to come up with a macro prescription that I think will best help you achieve the best results.

What is the difference between the custom nutrition challenge and the nutrition coaching?

The Challenge with custom nutrition is only a month long and it is catered to fat loss and toning up! It is a great option if you have a wedding or vacation soon that you want to lean up for! Ongoing nutrition coaching is weekly online/video check in continuously for however long you need to help you reach your goals. It can be more catered to “bulking”, power, fueling athletes muscle growth as well as toning up and losing fat.

How do I know if I’m ready to work with a nutrition coach?

If you have wanted to make a change but have struggled doing it on your own, hiring a nutrition coach can offer consulting, coaching, support, and motivation all in one. It can be overwhelming knowing where to start on your health journey. Having a coach on your team to help hold you accountable, make nutrition and workout routines catered to you and guide you might just be the exact thing you need to succeed.

Is following a meal plan more beneficial than macro counting?

They are both beneficial and have their pros and cons! I prefer macro counting when I want to mix up my food more and I’m more comfortable with macros! But I typically recommend following a meal plan when you’re first starting. A meal plan is also a nice option when you don’t have time to input everything into an app or you don’t want to think measuring your food every time you eat.
